New Literacies

The use of computers in the "Information Age" has transformed the way students learn and are instructed. This transformation requires new literacies in order to adapt to the changing world. The traditional role of the teacher changes to more of a facilitator with an emphasis on student centred learning. Literacies such as Interpretation of icons,graphic, sorting and saving information on the PC are essentials.
